Chatting with the PrinciPAL
As part of the ongoing accreditation process, St. Paul School parents, teachers, and students were recently asked to complete a school survey. The data from the results of these surveys will be used to identify areas of needed growth and improvement. Goals will then be developed to establish specific, measurable, and time-targeted objectives for the next four years.
St. Paul School, like all schools in the Diocese of Columbus, receives its accreditation from the Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association (OCSAA). OCSAA accreditation also requires schools to show evidence that they are implementing OCSAA Standards. The State Board of Education has approved these Standards as comparable to the ODE's Operating Standards for Ohio's Schools. Our school’s commitment to accreditation assures parents and the community that we are focused on raising student achievement, providing a safe and enriching learning environment, and maintaining an efficient and effective operation. As an accredited school, St. Paul School adheres to high quality standards based on the latest research and successful professional practices.
Three hundred and six parents completed the online survey. The majority of parents who completed the survey indicated they had children in grades 2 and 5. However the percentage of parent respondents in regard to their child’s grade level was fairly equal across grades K-8 as follows:
Please know that we value your feedback and we will continue to keep you informed as we develop our future goals. The results from the survey have been shared with our teaching staff and our School Advisory Board. Please visit https://goo.gl/AC1WyS to review the final results for each survey question.
