Happy Catholic Schools Week! Just a reminder that our Open House is this Thursday beginning with an opening ceremony in the Activities Center at 6:00 p.m. The middle school band will kick off the evening followed by a very special video presentation.
On a side note, we are really in need of a few volunteers to help at Open House as follows:
Man the refreshment table
Please call Linda Posani at the school office if you are able to help us out.
In addition, there are a number of opportunities for parents to volunteer and become involved in the next few months. You can sign up to volunteer at the school website on ivolunteer. The link is listed under Parent Resources on the school's website homepage at stpaulk-8.org.
Hope to see you Thursday night.

aThe St. Paul School STEM Advisory Board recently visited the STEAM Innovation Center located at The Point, Otterbein University. The Point at Otterbein is a cutting edge science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) center that combines academics with community business and manufacturing. Erin Bender, executive director of The Point, conducted a tour of the building highlighting the many opportunities for education to connect with business/industry in this creative, collaborative environment. The STEM Advisory Board met after the tour with Erin, to discuss next steps for developing a collaborative partnership with The Point. St. Paul School staff and administration are scheduled to visit The Point in March to tour the building and also engage in a hands-on STEM activity. We are excited about the possibility of expanding our STEM initiative to include a working relationship with The Point in the near future.
Our St. Paul Open House is on Thursday, February 1st from 6pm - 8pm. Our program will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Activities Center. Throughout the evening we will be providing a limited number of tours of our new second floor Middle School. Time and space is limited so sign up for tours will be on a first come first serve basis. Click on the signupgenius link below to sign up. Tours will also be available in the Spring.
Kindergarten Registration for the 2018-2019 school year is on Tuesday, February 6th from 9am - 1pm. in our computer lab. The following documents are needed for registration:
Hope to see you at Open House as we celebrate National Catholic Schools Week!
Mrs. Eckstein's 6th grade class assembled stockings stuffed with snacks and personal care items for some of WARM's elderly clients. The students and their families donated the items for the stockings. They put them together and included a personally made Christmas card. Special thanks to room Moms, Janel Fanning and Jenifer Hatcher. Mrs. Eckstein writes, "It warms my heart to see our students helping others!" Just another wonderful example of the amazing generosity and kindness of our students, staff, and families. Kudos to Mrs. Eckstein and her students.
